Labor was stopped and was in hospital a few days. Then found out I wAs dilated to 4-5 at a check up at 34.6 and doctor sent me to hospital. I had my first baby that night. , I went into preterm labor at 27w and my cervix went from 1cm to 2.5cm in an hour. Never felt it. And even in real labor, I knew I was having intense contractions but I never felt the cervix go from 8-10. I am 38 weeks and am being induced next week at 39 weeks. I am 3 cm dilated and a little over 60% effaced. I'm curious about experiences others have had being induced when they are already 3cm dilated or more prior to induction. I'm wondering mostly about time ..., They checked me and I was dilated to 3 cm and 50% effaced. Sent me to the hospital for monitoring. Was contracting but not feeling anything at that point, felt fine. The decided to give me the steroid shot for baby's lungs in case he came early. My contractions died off after three hours and I was sent home.
