A: We have heard from Dashers that long wait times at restaurants can be frustrating when waiting for an order to be ready. This new process means that instead of waiting for the restaurant to finish preparing orders, Dashers can grab the first orders ready at the store and head out to deliver them.And if the restaurant isn't open, then either wait or unassign the order. If the dasher is waiting 20 minutes for the place to open and it's a 20 mile drive, they're going to spend an hour on that order.
