A decently-played fury can easily put out T2 DPS while maintaining heal output that rivals or tops most other priests. A well-played fury can accomplish near-T1 DPS while maintaining full heal output. The mechanics for fury heals does require the tank to take damage, unlike wards or interception skills, but it is actually quite intuitive.
