It seems that the Xbox causes the screen to flicker when the cable box is being used even though the Xbox isn't in use (its on but the source is changed to the cable box). This issue is with the Xbox connected directly to the TV and when it's connected to the theatre system. The cache was cleared and im using the HDMI cable that came with it.
