If you dropped any of the new plugs at any time, the porcelain on the plug itself may be cracked. Another thing is Spark plug gap VERY IMPORTANT .032. Coils do go bad, but lets go over the easy stuff first. , A P0300 is generic for a misfire. Sometimes there are other 300 codes that also come up in addition to the P0300. It could also be as simple as a bad tank of gas., Engine is still running, I can accelerate, downshift gears, etc., but I pull over to get my code reader out. I get the following codes: P0300 - Random misfire. P0315 - Crankshaft Position Sensor not learned. P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit. I clear the codes and start it back up to see if it's a fluke issue., , P0300 is Multiple Cylinder Misfire. Normally, this would be because of bad electrical connections, or Vacuum Leake. Last week CEl came on. i changed the upstream 02 sensor on the passenger side, cleared the light and everything was going well. Then this week it hit me with p0305 (cyl 5). Thought it was the coil that went bad so i switched coil from cylinder 1 to cylinder 5 and 5 to 1., P0300 problem. I replaced the spark plugs and wires with ngk everything and I’m still getting this code. Took it for a spin today started fine and took off fine but once I got around the corner I couldn’t get above 40 mph. Came to a stop and engine stalled out. Took a couple turns to get the engine running but it was struggling.
