The Johnson Century reels were made in various shades of green., the two reels are identical except for size. the citation has the same gears, same drag, same anti reverse and the same body design, but it has a larger spool and rotor line pick up than the century as well as a larger front cover. i am very fond of both reels but i like the citation slightly more because not only can it hold more line but it is capable of holding much larger line than the ..., TheReelDeal: I've tried a lot of spincast reels with 6 lb. test line, and the only ones that have performed halfway decent were a Johnson Century 100B and a Daiwa 206RL (from Skip-thanks again). Line seems to dig into itself on the spool, interfering with casting.
