Ram rotary shifter stuck in park

Aug 27, 2016 · Ram Year. 2003. Engine. 5.7 Hemi. I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 PK-up and the shift lever has suddenly become stuck in park. I drove the truck earlier this morning and there didn't seem to be anything wrong. however after parking it for about 5 minutes I went to drive it again and the shifter would not come out of park.

You don't need to have them programmed either, swap and go, 2wd and 4wd use the same switch but you'd have to re-use the bezel and 4wd buttons if you pick up a 2wd switch.feel the bottom of the steering column collar. you should feel 2 or 3 holes.
