JelOS on the other hand is a bit too modern--moving so quickly that something's always broken somewhere, and even though there might be a fix, the fact that nine times out of ten it's an issue you had to seek out information about and resolve is offputting ...
I can’t seem to figure out, if there is a way, to adjust the brightness without first exiting whichever game I’m playing. I know with JELOS it was (I believe) done by holding down ‘select’ and pressing either volume button. Can’t seem to find any such shortcut for ArkOS. Appreciate any help.

I just got a RGB30 and attempting to install ArkOS on it, but system never moves past the ArkOS boot / logo screen. I have attempted this on a 16 and 32gb Sandisk ultra micro cards with the latest RGB30 ArkOS imageusing Rufus, balenaetcher, and Raspberry pi imager and it never boots pass the logo screen to complete installation.Make sure the game folder contains a framefile (usually gamename.txt file) and a .singe file. Run the Scan for New games script to create a proper .alg dummy file for each of the game folders copied. Restart emulationstation and launch your game form the menu.
