Hi there!!! I'm one of those people who know about the hidden merchant chest in Dawnstar. Once you empty it for the first time, it won't get new stuff until you look at the inventory of the Khajit merchant who shows up just outside of Dawnstar every so often. That being said, here's my question: How often does that khajit merchant show up there?In all seriousness Bethesda did not patch this out. At least in oldrim. There was a day where I tried to find it back on 360, looked in the exact spot it was supposed to be, and couldn't find it. Markath got a hidden chest by a wall next to the water/bridge east from the stables. It contains the inventory of the khajiit trade cravan that hangs outside Solitude. Outside Solitude by a bush there is a chest containing the inventory of the khajiit caravan outside Markarth. Making exploiting these two way more tedious than the Dawnstar one.
