Most of our pets are transferred from these shelters. The remaining animals at FOHA are accepted on a case-by-case basis. FOHA receives numerous inquiries or pleas from people wanting to surrender or give up a pet. Unfortunately, like most other shelters throughout the country, it is impossible for us to accommodate all requests.
